Villa physics for groups
Large resorts split groups by design — different corridors, different sittings, loungers claimed at dawn. Villa living reverses the physics: the shared pool, lounge and garden pull the group together when it wants pulling, and private rooms absorb everyone's different clocks. Safari groups landing from the northern circuit feel it fastest — after lodge schedules, a house with no fixed times is the actual holiday.
The practical spine: six big rooms (56–80 m²), proper extra beds rather than fold-out apologies, butler service across both villas, and dining that reshapes nightly — barbecue, beach table, restaurant, or Duyên's Vietnamese beside Zatiny's fusion at one long garden table. Beds first, because group trips live or die on them: every room takes a proper 90×200 cm extra mattress on a frame (Asili's sit neatly on the rooms' concrete benches; Kidosho's arrive as Swahili beds with mosquito nets), children's beds are on hand, and Dunia's dhow-wood frame splits into a genuine twin for the friends who love each other at a two-metre distance. Kitchens follow: a children's menu on request, dietary needs handled daily, and the day's tables reshaped on a WhatsApp message — one long garden table tonight, three small ones tomorrow, a barbecue by the pool for the reunion dinner.
The house absorbs group rhythms without friction. Two pools split the cannonball and quiet-swim factions; the open-air cinema (300 films) takes the teenagers at nine and the grandparents' classics at seven; the lunchtime tortoise feeding handles the under-sixes indefinitely. Money stays simple — one master bill or split payments in Visa and Mastercard, no Amex, USD or shillings — check-in runs from 14:00, check-out to 10:30, and the two-night minimum (five in peak season) keeps the calendar honest. Do we need to rent the whole property?

How do groups eat here?
However the group wants: one long table in the garden, split tables at the restaurant, a barbecue by the pool, a lantern-lit dinner in the sand. Half board covers breakfast and dinner from both kitchens, meal times flex around game plans, and the kitchens handle mixed dietary needs daily.

What about guests with mobility needs in a group?
Plan them into Kidosho or Asili's ground floor: Kidosho runs level from its entrance to the suites, and Maji or Dunia skip Asili's stairs. The paths between villas are garden terrain — tell us the specifics and we'll assign rooms so nobody's week depends on a staircase.
